Preparation Directions:

1. Bring one gallon of alkaline or distilled water to boil in a stainless steel pot. No Teflon or aluminum.
    
2. Add tea to boiling water and boil on high for 5 minutes then reduce to a low boil for 20 minutes, turn off the heat.
    
3. Let sit for approximately 30 minutes or longer.
    
4. Stir the mixture with a wooden spoon to release medicinal properties from the bark.
    
5. Strain with a fine strainer into a pitcher or back into the empty water jug.
