Release the medicinal properties by brewing up a batch

Supplies Needed:
1 gallon of alkaline water 
Stainless steel pot with a lid. 
Fine strainer or cheesecloth 
1-gallon sized pitcher or container with a lid
Large wooden spoon for stirring while brewing as well as in the pitcher before serving.
*Do NOT use aluminum or chemically treated utensils, like non-stick pans or Teflon, as it can react to the herbs.

How to Brew 
1. Pour water into the pot and bring to a boil. 
2. Empty the loose herbs into the boiling water and reduce to a simmer for 15 minutes. 
3. Turn off and cover with a lid and let sit for 8 hours. 
4. For optimal potency, stir occasionally to release more medicinal properties from the herbs. 
5. After 8 hours, strain into another container. 
6. Store this in a container with a lid and refrigerate it for up to 21 days. 

*Not using alkaline water will reduce the effectiveness as well as shelf-life once brewed. 
 
Enjoy ½ cup up to twice a day.

Do I have to use alkaline water?

How much should I drink a day?
We recommend starting with half a cup in the morning. You can have another half a cup in the afternoon if you feel like your energy levels begin to fade.
 
Can I add a sweetener?
We do not recommend adding any sweeteners, but if you choose to, raw honey is preferred over white sugar or other processed sweeteners.
